For fruit trees, a common range is between less than 10% of sunshading starting with bird netting* and up to 50% with shadeclothes. This can vary based on the type of fruit you're growing. 2. Positioning and Installation: When planning your orchard design, it’s important to consider where the shade cloth will be placed. Rows of shade cloth should be aligned to provide the most effective coverage without blocking airflow or water. Overhead shade cloths are common, but side coverings can also be used for protection against winds. All our kits include a 1.5m tall wall, with an apex height of 3m or more. You can adjust these dimensions by adding footing extensions, which can raise the wall height to up to 3m.
